About This Product

TechnologyMap turns a technology market into a living map. Instead of a static landscape graphic that is out of date the day it ships, every category branches out from a central node and every vendor sits on its branch, ready to click.

The live demo maps the Application & API Security market across 10 categories, from API security and container security to threat modeling and bot mitigation, populated with 140 fictional vendors so you can explore every interaction without real company data. Click a category to zoom into it, click a vendor to open its profile with logo, description and website, search by name, and drag or zoom to move around the whole market.

Maps are data, not drawings. Each organization keeps its own maps, categories and vendors, and a map goes public only when it is published. The same map can be embedded in any site through an iframe-friendly view, so an event page, a newsletter or an analyst report can carry the live version instead of a screenshot.

Built with Astro, React, D3 and TypeScript on the front, and an Express + Prisma API over PostgreSQL. Currently in beta.
