Anthropic Commits $100M to Claude Partner Network — Accenture, Deloitte as Anchors
Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Network with $100 million in initial funding. Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, and Infosys are anchor partners. A Claude Certified Architect certification is available immediately.
Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Network on March 12, 2026, with an initial $100 million commitment for the year. The network formalizes consulting and professional services relationships with systems integrators, with Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, and Infosys as anchor partners at launch.
What the $100M Buys
The investment goes directly into the partner ecosystem rather than Anthropic’s internal operations:
- Training and sales enablement — direct financial support to partners for building Claude delivery practices
- Market development funds — co-marketing for joint campaigns and enterprise sales
- Applied AI engineers — Anthropic is deploying dedicated engineers to partners working on live customer deals
- Technical architects — available to scope complex enterprise implementations
- Localized support — international market go-to-market coverage
The team scaling is notable: Anthropic is growing its partner-facing staff fivefold. For a company that has historically operated as a model lab rather than an enterprise software vendor, this represents a significant operational shift.
The Claude Certified Architect Certification
The first technical certification — Claude Certified Architect, Foundations — is available immediately through the partner portal. It’s designed for solution architects building production applications with Claude and covers the Claude API, prompt engineering at scale, and integration patterns for enterprise environments.
This is infrastructure for a services ecosystem: the major SIs need certified practitioners to sell and deliver Claude-based engagements at scale, and Anthropic needs those engagements to drive API consumption.
Why the Big SIs, Why Now
The timing reflects where enterprise AI adoption is in its cycle. In 2024 and early 2025, most large organizations were running AI pilots. In 2026, the conversation has shifted to production deployment — and production deployment at enterprise scale requires the implementation and change management capabilities that firms like Accenture and Deloitte bring.
Claude’s position as the only frontier model available across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure gives it a structural advantage in enterprise procurement: cloud-committed spend can be applied to Claude API usage without leaving the cloud provider relationship.
The Competitive Dynamic
Anthropic is building what Microsoft built for Azure OpenAI — a partner ecosystem where the major SIs have financial incentive to recommend and implement Claude. OpenAI has a similar program through Microsoft’s partner network. Google has its own SI relationships for Gemini.
The $100M investment signals that Anthropic is competing seriously for enterprise deployments, not just API revenue from developers. That’s a different growth motion and a more durable one.
