Prism Analytics Platform
The Challenge
Prism needed a real-time analytics dashboard that could handle 50,000+ concurrent users while maintaining sub-200ms response times. Their existing React SPA was hitting 8-second load times and couldn't scale beyond 5,000 connections.
Our Approach
We rebuilt the entire frontend on Astro 6 with React islands — static shell with hydrated interactive components. The backend was rewritten to use Supabase Realtime with PostgreSQL materialized views for pre-computed aggregations. WebSocket connections are multiplexed through a custom gateway.
The Outcome
Load time dropped to 1.1 seconds. The platform now handles 80,000 concurrent users with P95 latency under 120ms. User engagement increased 340% in the first quarter post-launch.
